The 1978 Chuck E. Cheese Halloween Mask was a promotional item distributed alongside the 1978 Jasper T. Jowls Halloween Mask- only confirmed to have been given at the fourth Pizza Time Theatre location, Sacramento (Florin Mall), CA (7020 Stockton Blvd), though likely was givern or sold at other locations around the time.
The only other appearance of either mask is in the San Jose, CA (370 S Winchester Blvd) 1979 news coverage, which depicts the Jasper mask amongst other collectables on a frame labeled “The Pizza Time Promotions”, likely affirming the promotion was at least also held at the Winchester location, and seemingly dating the footage.
A seller for a mask on eBay noted that “…this was from his birthday in Sacramento California.”, giving credit to the idea the masks were used outside of the Halloween promotion.
