Athens, GA(3654-I Atlanta Hwy) is a Chuck E. Cheese’s that opened on April 10, 2000 and is still open today with the CEC 2.0 Remodel Program. This location should not be confused with Athens, GA (3585 Atlanta Hwy) which opened on March 07, 1983 and closed on 1984 (month and day unknown)
Stages
When this location opened, it had a prototype Studio C Beta(1) that had one TV. It would stay like this until February 2022 when it would be replaced by the 2019 Model Chuck E Live Stage (Dance Floor).
History
Athens opened on April 10, 2000 with the major 90s remodel. It would remain like this until 2020’s when this location would receive 2.0 which involved replacing older decor with newer decor, getting rid of the Studio C Beta Prototype, and upgrading the atmosphere to a more modern look. In 2020’s Athens would receive the new trampoline zone concept.
