Rockin' Rollie's Opening Announcement

Rockin' Rollie's was an obscure animatronic pizza place that opened in Sioux Falls South Dakota on June 13th of 1990⁽¹⁾ and closed on July 31st of 1991.⁽¹⁾ The business was run by Galaxy Enterprises Inc owners Randy Koepsell, Randy Hindbjorgen, Chris Kirkus, and Doug McBeth.⁽²⁾ Galaxy Enterprises commissioned LifeForms of Toledo to produce the show, and then made the show audio in house.⁽⁵⁾
The business closed on July 31st of 1991 after failing to beat local competition, and also likely after receiving public backlash for using video lottery machines and serving alcohol at a children's pizza place. ⁽³⁾

Characters

Rollie the Bear

Rollie the bear plays the electric keyboard and is the leader of the band.

Jammer the Lion

Jammer plays lead guitar in the Loco-Motion band. Brett Eble refers to him as the coolest cat around. Jammer wears black pants, a purple top coat, and sunglasses.

Ginger and Snap the Kangaroos

Ginger is a kangaroo parent and Snap is their kid. Ginger plays the trumpet in the band and Snap plays the saxophone.

Rimshot the Tiger

Rimshot was the drummer of the band.

Jake the Monkey

The comic relief of the band, Jake plays the bass for the band.

Sly the Snake

Sly the snake doesn't have many movements.

Lucy the Toucan

The backup vocals of the band.

Trivia

Galaxy Enterprises Inc was also involved in the franchising of Gigglebee's.
One of the Rockin Rollie's band members was present at the auction in 2008 for Gigglebee's closing.⁽⁴⁾
The music for the show was taped over music from the band Sharon, Lois & Bram. ⁽⁵⁾
